Janet also loved to travel, and wound her way around the world with friends and family. Janet was born on March 27, 1931 in Hartford to Willis Babcock and Mabel (Letalien) Babcock. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Jordan of Glastonbury; and Nancy and her husband Michael Santacroce of Cheshire and her grandchildren Samantha and Alexander Santacroce also of Cheshire; brother William Babcock of Florida; and lots of friends. Janet was recently honored for marking her 50-year membership at Central Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Baptist Church, 457 Main Street, Hartford, CT 06103. Family and friends will be received on Thursday February 9, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home 136 South Main Street, West Hartford. Burial will be private.
