Dear Gladys,
We will miss Bob! He was a wonderful person -- never forgot a person and their family, attended events involving his co-workers and friends, always friendly and welcoming. You two were a great team as ambassadors of the West Hartford School System. We are sorry that Bob spent a number of years suffering from his illnesses and know that it is a blessing that this suffering is past. We will always remember him with fondness and great respect.

In 1954, I flunked Latin at Hall High School, so my punishment was to have to take "Current Events" with Bob Dunn in what I believe was his 1st year at Hall. It was the luckiest blunder of my life. He changed my life. He lit an educational fire that resulted in my achieving four post graduate degrees and through the years, he always encouraged me to excel in my chosen fields.
Thank you, Bob. I will never forget you.

Dear Mrs. Dunn:

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Dunn. I will cherish your intriguing year-end letters of you and Mr. Dunn's travels (as did my Mom Barbara Nappier). Please note that you are lovingly in our thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Dunn was a very special human being and a brilliant educator. He helped guide me and numerous other students to recognize and maximize our God given gifts. Gladys, Geri and I send our deepest sympathy.

Dr Dunn was a gifted educator who helped me and untold others make critical life decisions along the way. I will never forget his kind letter to my family when my father passed.

The Lord has called his son home, and said welcome home. My condolences to the family as he was my principal at Hall High. I with him numerous times not for trouble making but as a student whose parents did not speak good English. He was there to assist me to help my parents and for that I am grateful for his willingness to help
