We are thinking of you, Gladys, and sending much love at this difficult time. Bob was a wonderful colleague, mentor and friend who greatly influenced our lives and the lives of many others. We were privileged to be part of the Hall High faculty and will forever remember Bob with love and appreciation.

With love,
Cheryl and Ken Freeston

I would like to send my condolences to Dr. Dunn's family. He was my principal at Hall High. He was a great motivator that believed in his students and encouraged you to believe in yourself. He will truly be missed! Rest in Peace Dr. Dunn

Dear Gladys, My day begins with discovering your dear Bob had passed and then reading Bob's obituary, seeing in print the distinguished life and many, many ways he served so many in his career. I want to add your joint generosity to Bates College as selfishly that is the way we got to know you both. Your faithful tending Bob in his final illness is an inspiration to all of us . Gladys, please know our thoughts are of you,

Without Mr Dunn's creative help, freely given to me from 3000 miles away while I was in the UK, this 1970 Hall HS graduate would never have navigated the obstacles in my way to gaining entrance to the University of Oxford. His influence made giant impact upon my life. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Dr. Dunn was a distinguished and dedicated educational leader who cared deeply for the well being of his students. I am sad to hear of his passing and will remember him with gratitude for the compassion and support that he provided both to me and to my family.

Dr. Dunn was very supportive of me throughout my basketball playing years at Hall High. We always stayed in touch, and he and Mrs. Dunn attended my wedding 42 years ago. He was an amazing educator and friend. Over the past few years his health slowly declined, but during our visits he was always upbeat, and Mrs. Dunn always made sure he had the best of care. Our thoughts are with you, Mrs. Dunn, during this very difficult time.

The Hogans pass along our condolences. Dr. Dunn was always a supportive, caring person. We spanned the years from '69 to '83 at Hall (from the last year of the 'old' Hall to the open classroom setup of the 'new' Hall, with my mother even doing her Student Teaching at Hall (after so many years raising kids at home.) We thank you, Gladys, for all that Bob did for us. May he rest in peace.
